Today we have new tools and techniques which offer an alternative approach to the treatment of rain water in the city, integrating the management of runoff in the urban landscape. Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) try to imitate the natural behavior of the basin before the urbanization process, if possible reproducing natural flows and volumes, and the quality of its waters.
